Graham Mann and I flew 3D to Newtonmore (in the Spey valley) at the weekend. We released at 1,000ft onto the ridge, before finding a good 4-5knot thermal to cloudbase. After a bit of effort, we contacted wave West of Glen Muick - reaching a high point of 10,000ft over the Cairngorm mountain range.05 April 2012
